Personal training is coaching for a specific goal or reason, to progress and improve. From fitness beginners to elite athletes, we will focus your training on form and performance to ensure you get the most out of your time and training. Our sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

We also offer a free 30 minute personal training taster.

We offer the following personal training services:

One-One Personal training:

Custom workouts specific to your needs, we will focus on technique and form and challenge you to reach your full potential.

One-Two Personal training:

For those who don’t want to train on their own, or who want to split the costs. Ideal for two training for the same reason/goals.

Small group training:

Training for groups of 4 people with a specific focus on each workout. SGT is booked for a 4 week period including start and finish measurements.

Live stream workout:

Because not everyone can get to the gym. Our live steam workout via Skype, Messenger or WhatsApp, allows us to train you wherever you are, using the equipment you have at your disposal.

Online PT:

We will set specific training and diet plans for you, schedule and set when and where they are to be done. For those who like structure in their life.

Hybrid training:

This is our Gold Standard, combining both our personal training and our online PT packages to give you the best of both worlds and allow us to give you all the attention needed for you to succeed and reach your goals.

In detail

Sports massage is relevant to all injuries (depending on what stage that injury is at), stiffness, tightness, aches and pains you may have. We will first conduct a thorough consultation to work out what the possible issue may be and the best plan for treatment and aftercare will then be given to you. Combining our massage and personal training expertise, we are able to devise a rehabilitation plan specific to you to get you functioning normally again. Our treatments range from 30 mins to 1 hour.

We also offer a free 15 minute consultation.

We offer the following Sports Massage services:

Deep tissue massagE:

Using slow strokes and deep pressures, we are able to reach the deeper layers of muscle and fascia (connective tissue surrounding the muscles).

Soft tissue releasE:

This massage technique allows us to assess, stretch and manage the soft tissues in the body such as the muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Helping with faster healing after injury.

Postural analysis:

We will use our experience and knowledge to find any postural abnormalities you may have and, where possible, devise a structured corrective program for you to follow.

Soft tissue mobilisation:

A specific assessment, evaluation and treatment of soft tissues (ligaments, muscles, tendons and fascia) for the purpose of creating beneficial effects on the nervous, musculoskeletal, lymph and circulatory systems.

Injury management:

From the hands on treatment using our sports massage techniques to your specific rehabilitation plan including stretching and strengthening exercises, this will give you the tools to help in the recovery of your injuries.

Pain reduction:

Our massage techniques will help release the tension and waste product build-up in your muscles, this will start to have a positive impact on the pain you are in.

Pre event massage:

For those who need that extra something before taking on a challenge to ensure the body is fully prepared for the task at hand. We offer our pre event massage to target acute pain and increase blood circulation to the muscles to give you the best possible chance of completing the event.

Post event massage:

We offer this treatment to help aid recovery after exercise or an event, this can help prevent post exercise soreness, restore range of movement and encourage blood flow to tight muscles.




In detail

As a personal trainer, all of our plans and advice are for guidance only and any advice given by a qualified nutritionist or dietitian should take precedence. The BPM app is developed by my-pt-hub which has a vast library of diet plans created by nutritional professionals.  

As well as the set diet plans, we are able to create custom plans specific to your needs. These are based on your body type and are designed following either the Harris Benedict or the Mifflin St Jeor formulas.

We offer the following nutritional services:

Nutrition plans:

A detailed plan with meal and portion size broken down to be in line with your daily calorie and macro targets.

Meal plans:

Individual meals set to your calorie and macro targets, these can be added by you to create your own nutrition plan.

Macro tracking:

This allows you to log your daily intake of calories and macros easily and simply by using our apps database or inputting your own food/portion details.

Shopping list:

The pre-set nutrition plans will fill your shopping list allowing you to easily purchase the required food for your nutrition plan, simply take the list with you on your next shopping trip to ensure you have all the required products.

Without measurable goals and a clear vision of what you want to achieve, you will never know when you have succeeded. We will help you set up ‘SMART’ goals, monitor your progression, re-assess and progress.

We offer the following Measuring services:

Services testing:

Specific fitness and strength testing for the Police, Fire Brigade and Armed Forces.

Fitness testing:

From the step up test to the bleep test, we will chose one suitable for you.

Strength testing:

Specific body parts or exercises, depending on what stage of your fitness journey you are at this can be from one rep max, ten rep max or just maximum number of press-ups or pull-ups.  We can also offer the grip test.

Flexibility testing:

Using the sit and reach test or simply measuring the range or angle of movement we can monitor and develop your flexibility.

Fitbit logging:

Your Fitbit devices will connect and share their data with the BPM app, allowing us to keep up with your progress.

Body fat measuring:

We use either the body stat 1500 machine or the Harpenden skin fold callipers to measure and monitor your body fat.

Heart and lung testing:

Blood pressure and peak flow testing can be done to keep track of the function of your heart and lungs.




In detail

Pen and paper have become a thing of the past, the BPM App allows you to log and track your workouts, nutrition and measuring with the comfort and ease of your smart device. We are then able to monitor and support you remotely by analysing your logged data. The BPM app is created and maintained by MyPTHub and is constantly being updated with new content to ensure we can keep your training journey ahead of the game.
